April Xu is an award-winning bilingual reporter with 10 years of experience covering local news in NYC. She was a reporter at the New York Bureau of Sing Tao Daily, one of the most widely read Chinese-language newspapers outside of China. Currently, she works as a Chinese community correspondent at Documented, a non-profit news site devoted solely to covering New York City's immigrants and the policies that affect their lives.
Beyond her journalistic pursuits, April is a skilled content creator proficient in managing social media accounts. Moreover, she finds fulfillment in her passions as an amateur runner, a skilled skier, and a food lover.
