Welcome to the vibrant world of dance and inclusion!

Get ready to witness a truly extraordinary event at this year's ROAR summer festival as youth and young adults with developmental disabilities come together to deliver an exhilarating Zumba performance. This unique showcase celebrates the incredible talents and abilities of individuals who are often overlooked, providing them with a platform to shine brightly and showcase their passion for dance. Prepare to be captivated by their energy, enthusiasm, and undeniable spirit as they break barriers and redefine what it means to embrace diversity in the world of performing arts.

Get ready to be moved, inspired, and thoroughly entertained by this remarkable Zumba performance by youth and young adults with developmental disabilities from our University Settlement's EXCEL Program.

EXCEL, our program for children, teens, and young adults, is committed to helping individuals and families with differing abilities, including those with developmental disabilities. EXCEL provides recreational and educational opportunities, including swimming lessons, baking, art, drama, computers and technology, career development, and healthy expression. EXCEL also includes classes for the whole family and special events geared toward caregivers. We serve children and adults from age 4-35 years old. Classes run in cycles and take place on the weekends.
